Job Description

    As a Front Desk Agent at our company, your role is crucial in ensuring a memorable guest experience right from the beginning. Your responsibilities include:- Acknowledging IHG Rewards Club members and returning guests, whether in person or over the phone- Managing guest bookings, seizing up-selling opportunities, and suggesting ways to enhance their stay- Handling cash and credit transactions- Checking guests in and out efficiently, taking IDs, distributing room keys, and managing safety deposit boxes- Anticipating guests needs, noting their preferences, and addressing their messages, requests, questions, and concerns promptly- Acting as a reliable point of contact for all guests, assisting with various issues and providing local knowledge as needed- Ensuring safety at all times by following safety procedures, reporting incidents, and using necessary protective gear- Maintaining a professional appearance and representing the brand effectively- Staying informed about the days schedule of events and activities- Assisting colleagues with ad-hoc duties whenever requiredWhat we require from you:- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with guests and address their concerns or feedback- Excellent problem-solving abilities to transform challenges into opportunities and leave guests with positive memories- Fluency in the local language is essential, while additional language skills would be advantageous- Proficiency in basic literacy, numeracy, and computer skills- Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays- High school diploma or equivalent qualification, with a college or university degree considered a plus but not mandatory- At least one year of experience in a front desk or guest service role- Physical strength to handle objects weighing up to 50lbs (23 kg) with bending and kneeling involvedIf you believe you possess most of these qualifications and skills, even if not all, we encourage you to apply and embark on your journey with us.
