Telco Account Solutions Architect, Germany

Job Description

• Demonstrate the value of Red Hat Solutions; work with the Key Account Manager and collaborate with the extended EMEA team to focus on the best approach to address your customer needs
• Define, document, present, and demonstrate how the Red Hat product portfolio can enable next-generation IT and network architectures for telecommunications providers, both in the network function virtualization (NFV) and in the operational support system (OSS) and business support system (BSS) space
• Partner with local teams to address telco customers and partners and their technical network teams; work with the sales team to gain market share
• Work with the ecosystem to position Red Hat as a key strategic vendor for telecommunications and NFV infrastructures, e.g., independent software vendors (ISVs), network equipment providers (NEPs), telecommunications, cloud providers, integrators, and hardware vendors
• Deliver expert-level presentations and demonstrations for Red Hat products and solutions in the context of telco IT operations teams and networks
• Design value-driven architectures and present the application and return on investment (ROI) of those technologies
• Share knowledge and findings to allow team members to learn from your successes and mistakes
What you will bring
• Excellent conceptual skills that can connect together the complexity of todays telecommunications environment with the power of Red Hat software capabilities to define the potential of next-generation service provider and related ecosystem environments
• Extensive industry knowledge and market insights, with a good understanding of current, new, and future technologies and business directions
• Build and maintain management and C-level relationships with Red Hat s customer and partners that result in deeper loyalty to Red Hat and broader adoption of Red Hat s solutions
• Solid skills in IT technologies used in telcos, like Virtualization, Cloud, Container Platforms, and Microservices
• Understanding of the existing and new technologies used by the telecommunications industries like 5G, internet of things (IoT), software-defined networking (SDN), NFV, and OSS/BSS
• Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills in English and German
