Job Description

    Engineering Manager Technical Stream for MS/ENF4 NVH & Durability simulations for Bosch and other partner projects.Domain responsibility: NVH Simulation, Testing & consultancy.Single point of contact for Simulations from BGSW for Electrification product developments within Bosch eg. EAxle; EMachines etc.Key responsibilitiesTechnical & Strategic LeadershipLeading the simulation group of NVH/ FEAReview the deliverables of the simulation engineers for all the projects engaged in.Lead the Electrification product project engagements from simulations domain.Champion competency development for Electrification projects from all simulation domains.Ensure Quality of deliverables from BGSW related to simulations are per project requirementsLead the NVH simulation and Testing consultancy domain to meet project requirements.Demonstrate progression in the value addition YOY to the engaged Bosch and other partners.Contribute to Simultaneous engineering project teams representing simulation domains as needed.Content driven leadership Bosch (eg DRBFM+M or equivalent)Delivery & OperationsPlanning, allocation & optimal utilization of resources for projects Associates, tools, hardware, etc.Ensure timely revenue conversions (Invoicing), meet Outsourcing, automation targets. Ensure delivery to Legality, Quality, Process Compliance, On time and Cost. Responsible for appropriate staffing of all projects with assignment of roles and responsibilities.Periodic project status reporting to higher management and partners.Support in department level business planning activities.Approvals (leave, travel, purchase, etc.) as per signature rulesPartner EngagementPeriodic review and reporting of project status with partners.Engage and influence Group Managers and Project Manager at partner business units.Support Directors in promoting BGSW simulation competencies for increased engagements.Support Directors in Deriving Partner promises and ensure implementation.People Management / Associate EngagementMentoring of associatesCompetency & support career development of associatesPerformance reviews and feedback for group associates.Associate development and engagement initiatives in line with hybrid work within group,Recognize and celebrate accomplishments and exceptional performanceProcess Implement quality process and initiative to meet customer demandsProactive application of engineering methods (BES-PE, e.g. DRBFM).Compliance to organization rules and policies.Support corporate functions for process implementation, optimization, and improvementsMandatory Skills:Mechanical Engineering professional with overall ~12-18 years.Hands on Simulation experience of 5 -10 years. Preferred Durability FEA or NVH.People management leadership experience of min 2-3 years.Exposure to full product development cycles.Excellent communication skills (Written, Presentation and Oral).Stakeholder management.Experience in managing projects with distributed teams across locationsExperience in working and engaging with international partners.Experience in Agile development.Desirable skills:NVH testing & consultancy | Lab management exposure.Automation | data analytics exposureGood negotiation and convincing skills. Exposure to Project Management Tools like MPP & Office toolsExcellent networking and interpersonal communication with entrepreneurial mindset.,
