Job Description

    3D CFD Requirments: Requirement:
    1. 3 to 6 years of experience in performing powertrain component level flow and thermal simulation for both conventional (ICE) and electric drive (electric motor) cooling system.
    2. Should have good experience in StarCCM+ CAD (cleaning and extracting fluid domain) and various meshing techniques.
    3. Should have working experience in automation using macros in StarCCM+. Prior knowledge in Python and Java coding.
    4. Should have experience in multiphase flows (VOF / Lagrangian ) and rotating domain (RBM/MRF)
    5. Prior experience in SPH would be an added advantage.
    6. Candidate should have very good experience in developing, validating and maintaining CHT (Conjugate Heat Transfer) models in Starccm+.
    7. Would be an added advantage, if the candidate has basic knowledge on system level simulation using 1D CFD tool (preferably GT Suite)
    8. Should have good analytical skills to understand the scope of analysis, interpret the results and prepare reports
    9. Design iterations and Concept Studies: Schematic changes, components evaluation
    10. Interactions with global counterparts and understanding the requirements
    11. Understanding the test data and supporting the tests
    12. Responsible for quality as well as timelines for the assigned task
    13. Ensure the fulfillment of all applicable guidelines, regulations and compliance measures
    14. Should have studied Fluid dynamics, Heat transfer, Numerical methods, Thermodynamics.

    2. Must Skillsets: Starccm+, NX, Java
    3. Preferred Skillset: Python
    4. Language Proficiency: Strong communication in English is a must; German Language will be an added advantage.
