Job Description

One of our Clients, Leading IT Services Company is hiring for Akamai AdminKey Responsibilities:

  • The Akamai administrator must have hands-on experience in configuring and working with key Akamai solutions including but not limited to caching, split proxies, image manager, and Kona Web Application Firewall (WAF).
  • Strong communication skills. Collaborate with other professionals to determine functional and non-functional requirements for new/existing software or applications.
  • Communicate successfully all concepts and guidelines to business and 3rd party agency technical teams.
Job responsibilities :
  • Responsible for development, testing, support & troubleshooting of new Akamai solution configurations as per requirements by studying/analyzing requirements.
  • High quality organizational and leadership skills
  • Outstanding communication and presentation abilities
  • Off-hour (Eastern Timezone) support will be required for issues and special events such as product unveil special events and the yearly Superbowl.
  • Self-motivated, driven, and capable of working unsupervised
Essential:
  • Experience preferably in Content Delivery Network solutions
  • Able to provide functional support in good time in order to respond to critical usage requests from the business.
  • Working knowledge of data analytics.
  • Working knowledge of Agile and DevOps
Good to Have:
  • Content Delivery Network administrator with 4 to 7 years of experience in Technical Domain
  • Collaborate with data scientists, clients, managers, and information architects to determine system requirements, deliverables, and project milestones
  • Complete quality assurance procedures on new code through development, testing, and implementation to ensure exceptional deliverables for client satisfaction
Specific Skill requirement:
  • Akamai Content Delivery Network configuration experience
  • Preferred but not mandatory: DNS and Domain knowledge
