Job Description

JOB PROFILE:

The Associate position will be geographically located in Bangalore and involves covering the following responsibilities:

Deals:

  • Identify and understand new online transactive business models and companies
  • Build and leverage a strong network in the startup ecosystem to augment deal flow
  • Develop and present investment thesis
  • Support and manage portfolio companies post investment
  • General:
  • Identify and acquire reliable data on global markets and business models in the consumer tech space
  • Analyze and assess the key characteristics of these markets / models
  • Build sectoral investment thesis through industry research and primary interactions

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

Key attributes of the successful candidates would be:

  • Experience at a top-tier Venture Capital, Banking, Strategy firm or as a founder / senior management at a consumer tech startup
  • 3-5 years industry expertise preferred in: tech, e-commerce, consumer technology
  • Strong understanding of the Indian startup ecosystem
  • Exposure to entrepreneurial, fast-paced and fast growth companies
  • Experience working in a high growth environment
  • Accustomed to working across multiple geographies
