Job Description

The candidate will be supporting the Consumer and Community Banking risk organization. The group supports key strategic project initiatives in credit and operational risk management across the CCB risk organization across all product lines (cards, consumer banking, mortgage, business banking and auto). The candidate will supports credit and fraud strategy development, loss forecasting and core modeling processes and deliver on advanced analytical proof on concepts. In this highly visible role, the successful candidate will be expected to work on key analytical projects, propose and drive the analytical solution end to end and present the analysis and recommendations with the senior management.Responsibilities include but not limited to

  • This is an individual contributor role where the person is expected to own and deliver on analytical solutions end to end
  • The role requires a mix of strategy analysis and basic statistical modeling.
  • Work with the stateside and India colleagues across the Risk Management organization
  • Contribute to a culture of management business reviews to review trends, issues and actions.
Qualifications needed for the role
  • 3+ years of related analytical experience.
  • Master s degree in business management, finance, economics or other quantitative disciplines.
  • Ability to develop, recommend, and implement financial risk strategies based on well researched facts and analytics
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills to clearly present analytical findings and influence across all levels of the organization
  • Proactive communication and ability to engage seamlessly to bridge teams across multiple locations and time zones
  • Experience in analytic techniques applied to customer and risk valuation, ROI, design of experiment, segmentation and modelling
  • Proficient in the following applications: Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, SAS and SQL with experience in UNIX
  • Sound functional knowledge of the consumer bank risk management practice
