About the position The Associate 1Broadly, the key responsibilities [KI1] are:

  • Audit service delivery Be a part of the team that is responsible for audit service delivery and ensure timely and quality audit deliverables on the work done by self.
  • Content & industry focus Build strong domain expertise (accounting & auditing) and industry knowledge to enable better engagement with US ET and improve quality of work performed from GDC
Roles and responsibilities [KI2]The Associate 1 will be predominantly responsible to -
  • Demonstrate basic accounting and auditing knowledge
  • Understand audit procedures performed by GDC
  • Familiarize with audit documentation tool eAudIT
  • Familiarize with audit tools/applications used (IDEA, WISDOM,CASEWARE, MS Office)
  • Efficient and effective performance of audit procedures within the time provided with Quality
  • Nominate in self-development activities in technical and project management areas
  • Demonstrate strong inter-personal skills
  • Participate in / lead team and group activities
Education and Experience Requirements
  • MBA / Masters degree / Post Graduate degree in Finance & Accounting with first division (60%)
  • 0 1 year of full time experience with a reputed company / firm
Technical Skills
  • Audit and accounting knowledge
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (with an emphasis on MS Excel skills)
  • Strong English communication skills (Oral & Written)
Enabling Skills
  • Attention to detail and quality consciousness
  • Be a quick learner and demonstrate adaptability to change
  • Should be willing to and capable of delivering under tight timelines, basis the business needs including working on weekends
  • Should be open to travel to US on short and long term assignments
