  • Software & Automation
  • Core responsibility:Provide proficient tier 2 customer support on our automation & software products to meet and exceed customer expectations on service & support, in collaboration with other support teams (ISCO, BIO4C, Technical Service).
  • Act as trainer and mentor to Field Service Engineers, Subcontractors and other technical support functions.
  • Assess, qualify, make available technical knowledge to the support teams, including capitalization on historical support cases and data.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the support processes to achieve a consistently high customer experience.
Digital Projects
  • Core responsibility: Contribute to the development and testing of digital Field Service tools and processes; implement these in the region to drive efficiency, productivity and service to our customers - e.g. Smart glasses, QR codes, Customer portal, remote PC connection
  • Support the definition of URS for Field Service specific functionalities on corporate software tools like NEXT / SFDC / S-Max and implement them in the region.
  • Train regional Field Service Engineers and subcontractors in the application of digital tools and ways of working to enable efficient service and support.
  • Support the assessment of new technologies / future solutions e.g. software, AR/VR
Who you are:
  • Degree in Information Technology / Automation Engineering, ideally with a previous technical experience in an international pharmaceutical environment.
  • 5+ years industrial controls, industrial networks, protocols such OPC, Ethernet I/P and Profibus
  • iFIX Wonderware Rockwell and Delta V experience a plus.
  • Expertise in programming of PLCs, supervision software, or other programming and scripting languages.
  • Expertise in industrial networks and their implementation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, pragmatic, methodic and thorough.
  • Ready to take initiative and responsibility, proactive, autonomous.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and written skills, ability to work as part of a team in an international and multitasking environment.
  • Fluency in English. Any additional language is an asset.
  • Readiness to travel locally to customers & regional (when necessary) to provide on-site support
