Together, we re pioneering the future of science and medicine, developing products that enable researchers in the fight to save lives.Position: Application Development ManagerJob Purpose:In this role you will be responsible for driving the application development team in delivering the methods/workflows and content that support business strategy focused on expanding the Pharma, Food, Forensic applications using SCIEX Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry products. In this role you will have an opportunity to partner with Leading Scientists in Europe and US. This position is based in India.Key Responsibilities
  • Co-ordinating the day to day activities of the Application Development team.
  • Driving the Application development team in delivering the results on a timely fashion
  • Plan, develop and deliver laboratory protocols for various LC/MS methods for bioanalytical applications, Food residue analysis etc.
  • Prepare and/or deliver technical presentations and workflow demonstrations
  • Prepare technical documents for publication in Sciex Application notes and peer review journals.
  • Generate IP for the organization based on research done on Sciex Mass Spectrometry platforms
  • Support the smooth running of the Method development laboratory at the Sciex - Centre of Excellence in Ba
  • Experience:The ideal candidate will have the following experience:
  • 8-10 years of relevant experience in Lifesciences or related industry. Experience in the area of Bioanalytical & analytical research shall be preferred.
  • Experience in Sciex Mass Spectrometry platforms like Triple Quad/QTRAP and TOF Mass spectrometers
  • In-depth understanding of analytical techniques in research, specific to Liquid Chromatography tandem mass spectrometry.
    • Experience in Method validation as per regulatory requirements
    • Proven experience in Pharma Quant, Pharma Discovery, Pharma met-ID, Impurity profiling, Biopharma, Peptide Analysis etc.
    • Familiar with Sciex instrumentation desirable: hands on experience on Triple, Trap and TOF platforms
  • Preferable to have hands on experience related to other instrumentation and techniques in LC-MS workflows.
  • Proven experience in various sample preparation techniques for Bioanalytical/Food/Forensic applications

  • M. Pharma/ M. Sc (> 8 year of industry experience) / Ph.D. in Pharmacy or Life Sciences (>6 years of experience)
