    Head of Operations - Power Distribution/Smart Meter Industry : Oil and Gas / Power / Infrastructure / Energy Functional Area : Category : Operations Skills : Head of Operations - Power Distribution/Smart Meter The role on offer is a leadership position (C - Suite) responsible for driving and managing operations of large scale power/utility projects specifically in the space of smart metering/distributionClient Details : Our client is one of the leading providers of smart metering technology with focus on increasing efficiencies for distribution companiesDescription :- Responsible for driving executive-level management in deploying key performance goals and long-term operational strategy- To manage and grow a strong proactive relationship with DISCOM stakeholders- Overall responsibility for handling continuity of deployment inline to Tender/contract requirement- Lead the overall project schedule and scope to ensure efficient regional/cluster operations in line with project deliverables- Develop, implement, and monitor operational systems leading to insights on business goals and potential roadblocks.- Strategize and manage the entire Procurement and Supply Chain operations- Implement process excellence for profit maximization and cost reduction while achieving organisation growth- Responsible for overall P&L and monitoring of regional growth and performanceProfile :- A strong engineering background and preferably an Electrical or Power Engineering graduate- A minimum of 18+ years of relevant experience in managing large scale projects/programs in power/infrastructure sector- An MBA or Equivalent Masters degree in Power Engineering or related sector- Proven track record of leading teams and delivering on large scale projects with strong stakeholder management skillsJob Offer :- A leadership opportunity in a growth centric organisation delivering large scale smart technology projects with a strategic business impact- To apply online please click the Apply button below.
