Job Description

    Amazon India Security and Loss Prevention (INSLP) team is seeking highly skilled, motivated and passionate security professional who could partner in developing and implementing a world class security program for India operations network and our customers. We hire the brightest minds by offering them an environment in which they can relentlessly improve the experience for our customers through innovation and creativity.Objective : The primary objective of the Security & Loss Prevention(SLP) Manager is to provide physical security services, carry out investigation, manage crisis/ emergency situations and ensure asset protection in designated area of responsibility. The SLP Manager shall always endeavor to maintain customer satisfaction in accordance with Global Security guidelines and policies. The role is cross-functional and requires collaboration and influencing ability across business teams and corporate functions.Key job responsibilitiesRoles and Responsibilities: Planning, organizing, coordinating, implementing and executing process and procedures laid down by the organization and the SLP function. Identify, analyze and prevent inventory shrink/ loss in the defined areas of responsibility. Identify the potential theft area and work closely with the concerned stake holders for mitigatation . Ensure optimum utilization of the resources to maintain high quality and timely support to business teams. Should be able conduct risk assessment for the respective sites. Ability to independently handle emergency/crisis situations and secure people and assets. Conducts/ contributes in supporting complex investigations Maintains site Loss/shrink metrics including the compiling of regular management reports Overseeing the planning, design, installation and ongoing maintenance of required physical security measures Implementing training and awareness improvement initiatives for various levels . Supporting launches of new sites and ensuring adequate physical security measures are being installed to meet standards and risk management requirements. Involve and prepare site security budgets. Monitoring the implementation and performance of security guarding services Effectively Engage with Law enforcement in matters related to crisis, investigation or loss prevention, University degree level or equivalent through experience and professional certification. A minimum of 8-10 years in Security and Loss prevention role, law enforcement or security-related profession. Extensive and up to date knowledge of security equipment and technology. Experience in managing or coordinating security investigations of complex nature. Knowledge of information security processes and systems. Experience in security auditing. Must be a Graduate or Post graduate Preferred qualificationsLoss Prevention Investigation/Security related certifications (Reid, WZ, PEACE techniques or CPP, CFE, PCI, etc Preferably from Military/Law enforcement or Studies related to criminology or forensics background. Emergency Response / Crisis Management Training & Development. Auditing and security investigations
