Job Description

  1. Lead the Planning, sequencing and implementation of Project Execution Plan for respective packages.
  2. Monitor progress of works with respective to approved project schedule.
  3. To coordinate with internal design team and external consultants during various stages of projects as and when required to carry out the works at site.
  4. Participate in respective package technical reviews during the selection of vendor to provide constructive input to the respective internal departments.
  5. Ensure and review DPR, WPR and MPR submissions by respective vendors. Prepare a brief outcome / summary report of respective MPR.
  6. In depth knowledge on respective works. Along with exact sequencing of activities.
  7. In depth knowledge on finishing materials, installation procedures, finishing details along with site coordination with other activities / services in order to complete all works without any deviations / re works.
  8. Define detail / complete project tasks and resource requirements.
  9. Implement Quality Control procedures on site and monitor contractors work quality and compliance with design documents and codes.
  10. Based on observations in Quality Audit reports, review and prepare a compliance report within a stipulated time period. Ensure that precautionary measures are adopted to avoid the same in future.
  11. Track project deliverables using appropriate tools & provide direction and support to project team.
  12. Track / check on long lead items for procurement of material, equipment etc., to be procured by contractor and owners.
  13. To check and keep control on wastage of materials at site with respect to approved/agreed percentile of wastage. In case excess wastages are anticipated same to be brought to notice of Project manager.
  14. Prepare and present reports defining project progress, problems and effective solutions.
  15. Assist in preparing MIS on monthly basis, monthly consumption reports, daily progress report, etc.
  16. Review monthly project cost between planned cost v /s actual cost and forecast effect of changes. Ensuring that all appropriate changes are recorded accurately.
  17. Prepare Material requirement schedule based on the Bill of quantities prepared by the Architects. Co-relate Material procurement schedule with the programme schedule.
  18. Track or record any changes at site during execution as Site Instructions / Joint measurement sheets, compile the same on monthly basis.
  19. Track or record any deviations or changes due to changes in design / site execution or decisions through the process of Change Request before implementing the same for respective packages.
  20. Ensure submission of adequate documents required for Building certifications.
  21. Participate and attend Weekly and Monthly Integrated review meetings. In case of any urgency or as per requirement coordinating with different internal departments.
  22. Responsible for testing, commissioning and handing over of equipments, systems to the end users (Operations / facilities / external) as applicable.
  23. Responsible for delivery and handing over of areas in totality / partly / location wise as required to the end users (Operations / facilities / external) as applicable
  24. Responsible for submission of As built drawings, OEM, Guarantees and warrantees, attic stock of materials, spares as per agreement with the vendors to end user.
