    ASSISTANT MANAGER- JAVARoles and ResponsibilitiesJob Functions/Responsibilities:Build some amazing things, learn, teach, and have fun Leverage your technical expertise to constantly raise the bar and ensure the team deliversextraordinary results focusing on creating value, continuous improvement, and collaboration Strive to thoroughly understand customer, business, and user needs, and provide effectivelysolutions to meet those needs Dive deep into tech, driving architecture, design, and best practices via hands-on contributions Build real and effective partnerships with others throughout the company Effectively manage multiple projects and work across a broad range of technologies and productsKey Responsibilities include:You have 8+ years of hands-on software development experience with a deep understanding ofarchitecture and design across many frameworks and languages You have worked on many projects from start to finish, and had a senior role in their creation,development, and maintenance You have experience in architecting cloud-based enterprise applications that utilize loadbalancing, horizontal scalability, high availability, and serverless technologies You listen, communicate clearly and effectively with technical and non-technical audiences, andfacilitate solutions with actionable plans You care deeply about customers, architecture, design, technology, process, and quality You have strong systems and analytical skills and are results-driven You deeply understand the business and product landscape and can discuss and recommendtradeoffs across business, product, and technology You love developing and growing people and have demonstrated the ability to do so You believe in the You build it, you own it ethos You know most of these technologies and are eager to learn the rest quickly Java, Spring,Python, AWS (EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, Fargate, SNS/SQS, DynamoDB, ELB/ALB, and more), a widevariety of database tech, messaging frameworks such as ActiveMQ, event-driven architecture,microservices architecture, Oracle - PL/SQL, Groovy / Grails, Tomcat, REST, design patterns, OOD / OOP,transactional systems, caching strategies, Elasticsearch, CI/CD, GitHub, monitoring tools such as NewRelic Experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum/Kanban) B.S. in Computer Science (or equivalent degree or work experience)
