*Position Purpose & Summary Managing overall production operations in Safe, qualitative and Productive way by ensuring CEHS, FSQR & Local regulatory compliance and effective utilization of new manufacturing excellence practices.Principal Accountabilities1. Environment Health and Safety (EHS). 15%- Conducting HIRA & AIM of process & operation to ensure safe operation for ZERO Harm culture- Development of SOP, OPL and effective implementation to support safety culture in production operation- Deployment of the policy programs to foster the culture - Investigate events, near miss, unsafe act/condition with RCA and CAPA mechanism. Define and implement solutions for recurring incidents/situations - Carry out Continuous improvement in the area of production operation for improving safe work environment- Compliance of the Factory regulations, Pollution control Board regulations as per the applicability on time.2. Food Safety Quality and Regulatory (FSQR). 15%- Ensure compliance of Schedule M requirement as per Cosmetic and Drugs Act- Ensure the ISO 9001:2015 and FAMIQS principles of operation & food safety implemented and adhere to complete production cycle from receipt to dispatch.- Maintain and upkeep plant hygiene by ensuring good manufacturing practices all the time- Analyze and reduce re-occurrence of break-downs by carrying out RCA within the team.- Investigate incidents related to the plant and make records/recommendations on preventive or corrective measures- To proactively identify potential problems within production and find resolution to minimize damage/risk or possibly create unforeseen opportunity for gain.3. Manufacturing Excellence (Productivity, Process improvement & Cost Management). 40%- Planning, organizing Production & Maintenance schedules and execution to adhere the timelines- Formulating technical procedure & standards for carrying out operation & maintenance of equipment- Formulation of Preventive maintenance system with close alignment with maintenance and production priority and adherence to keep plant & machinery in healthy condition without breakdown as per MMV2.- Closely co-ordinate with planning, procurement and store team to maintain the RM/PM to avoid loss of production and effective utilization of the store- Preparing and timely submitting production report along with variances - Analyzing daily production reports for determining efficiency and productivity within the products range and minimizing wastage as per Plant KPIs- Cost optimization within all plant operations for meeting OPEX and budgets- Monitor dispatches of all products and carry out stocks reconciliation at plant periodically- Direct process capability and efficiency efforts to reduce overall operating costs and improve plant operations- Cost optimization within all plant operations for meeting Opex budget- R&M Budget and Cost saving/improvement project under CI strategy- 5S implementation to ensure foundation of production reliability sustainance- Lean Six sigma project implementation to improve the process variation.4. Manpower Planning & Development. 20%- Ensure manpower planning as per the production plan in most cost conscious way- Development of the skill for multitasking with training and demonstration- Monitoring labor performance, rating their efficiency, building a positive work culture and enforcing good product handling practices during maintenance( TPM-JH), production and dispatch.5. Customer Satisfaction. 10% - Ensure customer satisfaction by way of delivering products, services and information with promptness and accuracy at all times- Understand service quality index (SQI) and make meaningful contribution in continuous improvements., *Education, Experience, Skills.Required Qualifications Graduation/UG in Science / Pharmacy /Food tech / Chemical Engg8-10 Years of Exp. in manufacturing industry i.e. Pharma/API/Bulk Drug Knowledge of Schedule M Compliance as per Cosmetic and Drugs Act Knowledge of EHS system as per OSHA standards Basic Knowledge of Quality Standards & Quality Tools - Applies knowledge of quality standards and tools to enhance food safety and quality. Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 ; FSMS Team building, conflict resolution, innovation and engagement within the work forceEffective communication (verbal, written, presentation) skills for multiple levels of Cargill and customer organizations. Good Analytical and Problem solving skill
