Job Description

  • Support teams of client and KPMG personnel in the execution of work, monitor and support progress against project milestones to help ensure timely and high quality delivery of deliverables across a variety of clients within multiple industries
  • Conduct review of activities and costs pertaining to software development, laboratories, computing and industrial facilities, data centers, etc.
  • Conduct review of information and technical documentation received from clients software development subject matter experts, including engineers and technical specialists, accounting, and finance personnel to discover information that represents research and development activities.
  • Review interview transcripts of clients subject matter experts, including scientists, engineers, architects, technical specialists, accounting, and finance personnel
  • Understand different software development methodologies, Object Oriented, Big Data, RDBMS design concepts, software design patterns and high level concepts relating to emerging software technologies including IoT, Blockchain, Big Data, AI and train peers on the technical nuances of software development
  • Complete quantitative and qualitative analyses to evaluate tax treatment of expenditures
  • Organize documentation and create work paper files
  • Prepare client reports and deliverables
  • Bachelor or Master s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical or similar discipline, with approximately 14 - 15 years experience in a related industry
  • Coursework or minor in information systems, software engineering, computer science or data and analytics preferred
