    • Project Role :Application Support Engineer
    • Project Role Description :Act as software detectives, provide a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems.

    • Job Requirements :
        • Key Responsibilities : 1-Monitoring Application batches running in Autosys, Mainframes and AS400 2-Escalating Mainframe and Autosys abends and getting them resolved within SLA. 3-First level job failure troubleshooting. 4-Handling manual requests for Autosys and Mainframe coming in through request tickets and email. 5-Contacting application teams on day-to-day basis whenever required and resolve issues with minimal business impact.
        • Technical Experience : 1-Handling major incident calls with Major Incident Managers and providing the necessary information for quick issue resolution. 2-Ensuring adherence to SOP among application teams. 3-Monitoring message queues in AS400 and processing batches. 4-Escalating to L2/L3 for tool related issues. 5-Creating runbooks for new procedures within team and turnover documents for every shift.
        • Professional Attributes : 1-Must have good understanding of production support environment and must be ready to work in 24/7 shift pattern. 2-Must have good knowledge on any of the Autosys and Mainframe tools. 3-Must have good communication skills and should be a fast learner to adapt to new environment quickly.
