About the role: AWS Solution Architect is responsible for providing technical expertise to plan, analyze, define, develop and delivery of AWS deployable application or group of applications w.r.t product / solutions. Assist in facilitating end-to-end design and development of the solution and guide teams / team members ensure quality of delivery. Support in realization from concept stage to delivery stage.Cloud Infra Design & Modelling: Design complex, robust, scalable & secured cloud architecture as per FR / NFR. Create basic / initial cloud architecture for tech leads / application architect to build on. Analytical & decision-making capability on selecting right technology & design to ensure maintainability, modularity & unit cost of transactions.Research on latest Technology: Understand and research latest AWS cloud technology / tools in market which cater to organization long-term need in building solutions and products. Capability to validate technology assumptions, evaluate implementation alternatives is a must.Security & Compliance: Define & formulate security strategies based on user context and general compliance of safety. The architect needs to work with multiple stakeholders very closely to convert security & compliance requirement to technical specifications.Mentor & consultant: Active participation in technical consultancy during Customer engagement or pre-sales or proposal creation. Need to mentor potential tech leads for higher roles and develop internal competenciesCandidate Requirements:At least 8-10 years of strong AWS cloud architecture experience.AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional (Mandatory) Strong prior experience on well architected AWS solutions and gone through 360 journeys for a client.Customer-facing skills to represent AWS well within the customer environment and drive discussion on best practices, trade-offs, project management and risk mitigations.Having idea about deployment strategies (Blue/Green, Canary, etc.) is preferred.Effectively present technical capabilities and solutions/roadmap etc.Able to demonstrate clear value. Ability to learn/use various open-source technologies and tools.Establish and build relationships with external and internal stakeholders.Flexible, problem solver, make recommendations, build consensus and commitment Thought leadership skills Technical Skills:Experience and a solid understanding of tools such as EKS, ECS, K8S, and Docker.Experience in EMR, Glue, Athena, SNS, SQS, Kinesis, Sage-Maker.Understanding network protocols and services such as DNS, HTTP(S), SSH, FTP, SMTP, DHCP, TCP-IP etc.Experienced in the design, configuration, and maintenance of services using tools such as ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog.Expertise using GitLab, GitLab Runner, and Helm for CI / CD automation. Hands-on experience deploying and managing infrastructure with Terraform and CloudFormation.Solid foundation of networking and Linux administration.Experience with Atlassian tooling such as Jira and Confluence preferred.Experience in Strong Architecture and Design experience of Deploying Enterprise applications on AWS.Experience in scripting languages such as Python, Power shell, Bash, Node.JS / React JS, etc.Excellent Knowledge on Active Directory or LDAP. Good experience working with RDS (MySQL, Aurora, Postgres), SQL Programming.
