Job Description

  • Migration execution using platform migrations options Physical2Virtual (P2V), Virtual2Virtul (V2V), Physical2 Physical (P2P)
  • Migration execution using different Tools PlateSpin, Azure Site Recovery (ASR), CloudEndure
  • Agent uninstallation and installation during migration window
  • Perform all migration technical steps as mentioned in RunBook
  • Perform pre & post migration sanity checks(Infra level Testing)
  • Technical assistance for ELS and ATR
  • Troubleshooting on Azure VMs, vNET, Resouces Groups, NSG etc.
  • Deployment in Azure and windows, assign access right to resources.
  • Deploy database script (for creation and updates)
  • Need to work with several teams for fixing application related issues.
Primary Skills
  • Strong experience in working with VM Migration to Azure Cloud using migration tool like ASR, Platespine etc.
  • Experience in executing migration cutover activities. Support UAT, Troubleshoot during and post migration issues
Secondary Skills
  • Good experience with Windows (or) Linux OS administration and troubleshooting
  • Basic knowledge on PowerShell and windows scripting.
