Job Description

About us Commercial Banking is a core business unit focused on Commercial Lending within the JP Morgan Chase group. The group is focused on an innovative journey to create a stealth mode division building a platform for the commercial Banking clients. The platform delivers a one stop shop for the commercial banking clients through AI-driven technologies and best-in class User Experience. The platform will also integrate with other business process related to commercial banking. We are looking out for creative entrepreneurs with high end user focus and who enjoy building large scale systems in the area of FIN tech/Prop tech. This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-paced internal startup team with the resources and support of one of the largest bank. The unit is based in Palo Alto and Bangalore. This position is for Bangalore About the role The backed Engineer will drive the design and development of key components of the JP Morgan Chase Commercial Real Estate platform including data processing pipeline, feature extraction and process modeling, intelligent integrations with key business process platforms or similar systems Responsibilities As a Full Stack Engineer, the successful candidate will be leading the development of key aspects of JP Morgan s commercial real estate digital platform:

  • Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements.
  • Perform design, development for new platform features using node.js.
  • Understand platform vision and business needs to define platform requirements and platform architectural solutions.
  • Develop architectural and design principles to improve performance, capacity, and scalability of platform.
  • Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture
  • Building reusable code and libraries for future use
  • Implementation of security and data protection
About you The successful candidate will have experience in working in innovative projects with fast-paceddelivery schedules in startups & large enterprises:
  • Extensive experience developing backend APIs using node.js
  • Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets.
  • Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience in user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
  • Experience in Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
  • Proficient knowledge in Node.JS application development paradigm
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
  • Proficient in microservices, API gateway, Containerization and implementation of same
  • Experience on working in cloud based platforms and proficiency in Docker/Kubernetes will be a Plus
  • 4 to 8 years of experience in a full stack Engineer role, who has attained a Graduate degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems or another quantitative field
