Job Description

    Battery & Charging Functional Engineer for High Voltage components & systems of electrical vehicle Job Responsibilities
    • Support the development of systems/componenet design of battery & charging systems
    • Requirements analysis & developing 1-D physical models based on system and component levels
    • Develop Charging profiles (i.e C-rate/Charging Current) for differenet Batteries of EVs
    • Develop virtual ECU Models of charigng system functions.
    • Develop, integrate and validate control strategies for optimizing charging & driving performace.
    • Analyze measurement data of battery & charging performance
    • Perform standalone and vehicle level simulations, analyze, document results & suggest, evaluate and implement counter measures
    • Collaborate to develop specifications of new standards based on product road-map
    • Model validation with test data, identify gaps and bridge them by refining simulation methods.
    • Active contribution to Innovation: Product/Process/Business/Paper/Publication
    Skills
    • Experience in mathematical modelling of physical systems
    • Experience in 1D system tools including codign Matlab/Simulink, Simscape, dSpace, CANoe
    • Strong desire to contribute to the development process of innovative new products in the automotive sector
    • Technical knowhow: EVs, Power Electronics, AC-DC/DC-DC converters and its control, and BMS.
    • Working with international teams
    • Identifying issues, providing solutions and performing Root Cause Analysis
    • Good communication skills and ability to work independently & contribute as a good team player
    German language knowledge is added advantage,
