Job Description

    Job Description
    • Should have a degree BE/ B. Tech from a reputed university with certification in any SAP Module, preferred SAP MDG
    • Must have minimum 7+ years of experience in SAP projects (Implementation and Roll Outs) with at least 5 years in Master Data Management
    • Expertise in SAP Master Data Management with focus on Business Partner Master Data (BPMD) - (Customers Soldto, shipto, billto, payer, Vendors, Company Code data, tax codes, Sales and purchase data, Organizations, Payment methods to name few)
    • Must have good understanding of R/3 and S/4 Data models for BPMDs and other Master Data objects. Relevant transaction codes and Tables to create and maintain master data.
    • Must be able to check the required customization in SPRO for master data
    • Must have experience in integration topics with cross modules related to master data
    • Must have good knowledge on interface handling as data flow from central MD systems to local systems need to be smoothly managed
    • Should have experience in supporting end users/business to guide on the data cleansing and harmonization activities.
    • Must be well versed with the various MDM related preparation and cutover activities
    • Must have worked as a lead to drive the MDM process establishment, collaborating with business and IT stakeholders
    • Prepare MDM KPI s to assess the effectiveness of MDM approach and data quality
    • Should be capable to lead team on error analysis, resolution and solutioning
    • Aligned with key stakeholders within the same E2E process chain to constantly increase the level of standardization
    • Managed a team of at least 5-6 associates, overcoming challenges and delivering the desired outcomes
    • Good knowledge of quality standards, legislation and best practice in SAP MDM
    • Ability to think ahead and anticipate problems, issues and solutions
    Responsibilities MDM Lead is responsible:
    • Align with the various stakeholders on the MDM roadmap for the upcoming Roll Outs
    • Participate the project meetings and provide status from MDM side
    • Ensure that MD is available as per the defined guidelines and process in test and target systems
    • Support team on resolving errors and issues post uploads, distribution and validation
    • Prepare the MDM concept and necessary files for the audits
    • Understand the MDM Landscape and suggest the recommendations and processes for process improvements
    • Co-ordinate with the middleware teams to check interface settings and data distribution
    • Updating / maintaining critical master data
    • Identify errors through validation of MD in systems
    • Ensure MDM readiness(filles, distribution and corrections) for the ongoing projects
    • Ensure Master Data uploads as per project plan for Roll Outs
    MDM Lead is a critical role in the ongoing S/4 transformation program. Without correct and on time Master Data availability in test and target system, endangers the overall timeline of the program.,
