The Counterparty Data & Regulatory Tech (CDRT) practice area is responsible for the systems that support the client and account onboarding, and the distribution of client and account reference data to other business functions across the firm. The CDRT database team is looking for a talented and experienced data support professional to join and contribute to the team s data support activities. This role is for someone who is passionate about data and likes helping business users who need this data to perform their jobs .Database plant owned by the team is used across the firm for souring counter party data for all business activities ranging from trading, booking, reporting, clearing, reconciliation, settlement etc. The team also uses technologies like BOXI and Tableau for data reporting, Informatica for ETL, MarkLogic as document store, etc. This role requires the candidate to work with user teams closely to cater to their data extract and data upload requirements adhering to the SLAs defined. The role also requires the candidate to be able to convert data extract requirements to BOXI reports wherever possible. JOB DESCRIPTION Major Roles & Responsibilities: Deliver accurate data in a timely manner to key business users Implement and manage company data management practices and policies Implement continuous improvement Mentor skills within the data support team, *Required skills: Bachelors degree in computer science or a related information technology field Strong knowledge in writing complex SQLs using RDBMS like Sybase, DB2 Experience in BOXI report development and universe building Experience of working in Agile teams Good analytical and problem-solving skills Good interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work under time and resource constraints Motivated to expand technical and business knowledge. Good to have: Exposure to other reporting tools like Tableau, PowerBI Exposure to reporting using cloud technologies Experience/exposure to scripting using Python, Unix/Linux shell
