Reporting and Analytics Developer to help engineer reporting and analytics solution for a new Firm compensation system being built on Beqom Total Compensation platform, leveraging Microsoft Azure PaaS / SaaS / IoT solutionThis role requires strong experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and /or other analytical reporting and visualization platforms e.g. Tableau, SSAS (OLAP cube reporting), Cognos, BO.Responsibilities: Lead the development, specification and communication of our Business Intelligence architecture plan and the infrastructure components required to support it Consult and collaborate with IT Management, Enterprise Technology teams, Data Architects and third party PaaS / SaaS providers to analyze sources of data, determine optimal operational and analytical reporting methodologies, map and model operational and presentation layer data models Analyze requirements, design and develop solutions to facilitate decision-making and empower users by implementing a robust analytical reporting platform that supports both standard and self-service reporting models Lead the architecture design and develop comprehensive presentation solutions (cubes, dashboards, analytics, visualizations, reports / extracts) for our Beqom Compensation System Guide junior team members on new technological and architectural trends in the Business Intelligence spaceThis role is ideal for someone with financial services experience and adequate understanding of financial business, data and business processes to effectively design and develop reports for Beqom compensation management systemThe ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience with reporting and database development and strong analytical skills, *Qualifications: Bachelor s or Master s degree in quantitative discipline (e.g., engineering, science, statistics, math) or equivalent combination of education, training, certification and experience 5+ years of experience with presentation-layer reporting applications (Tableau, SSAS, Cognos, BO) with an understanding of data warehousing and data modeling methodologiesSkills required: MS SQL Server, SQL Management Studio Or other major DBMS system (Oracle, DB2) Visualization Tools (e.g. Sisense, Tableau, etc.) SQL Server Reporting and Integration Services (SSRS, SSIS) Or other integration tool (e.g. Informatica) Microsoft T-SQL, database stored procedure and SQL queriesSkills Desired: Cloud Computing Azure Data Factory SOAP, REST, XML, web services APIs
