Job Description

    * ducation
    • Bachelors or Master s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical & Electronics/Mechatronics
    Experience
    • 6-9 years of experience in Electrical component development
    Job Responsibilities
    • Function & complete responsible for sensors and Actuators
    • Define and manage Product Component requirements
    • Work with the system supplier to fulfill functional requirements
    • Interface & Coordination with vehicle cross functional departments to support component development and vehicle builds before and after SOP.
    • Component Release management
    • Tracking the necessary updates in the production databases with Logistics, Purchasing and other stakeholders
    • Conduct component , system and vehicle level tests for functional validation of system
    • Participate in review of Product Component Architecture / Design
    • Analysis of Defects and propose solutions
    • Define Fail safe mechanisms
    • Test functionality on test bench, HiL or vehicle.
    • All time availability for aftersales/field issues support.
    • Availability for travel for issue resolution across the globe.
    Skills Required
    • Bachelors or Master s Degree in Electrical & Electronics
    • Good understanding on Mechanical interface of electromechanical components.
    • Good understanding of Engine functioning and operation in vehicle.
    • Vast experience in automotive grade electromechanical component development activities including supplier management and ability to interface with cross functional teams.
    • Good understanding of different electric motor topologies i.e. DC, BLDC, PMDC, SRM, Stepper, Induction etc.
    • Good understanding on voltage regulation and different power conversion topologies and its control through Power electronics control.
    • Electrical Systems Knowhow and debugging skills
    • Awareness of validation standards , technical knowhow of the components and Test case development
    • Good exposure to release management tools like EPDM & Dialog.
    • Requirements management using DOORS is preferred.
    Preferred Skills:
    • Good communication skills and ability to work in & contribute as a good team player
    • Usage of tools MS Office, Databases, project planning tools
    • Experience in the automotive field and exposure of multi-cultural environment is an added advantage.
    • Basic knowledge on German language preferred.
    • Vehicle driving skills- Good to have
