This role is not limited to geographical boundaries as it aims to deliver ITservices and solutions to Herman Miller and its subsidiary group offices around the globe and could involve working inflexi timings. Key Responsibilities Include: Assists in achieving operational objectives by studying business functions;gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats. Define requirements by analysing business needs; constructing workflowcharts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications. Working with our Change Management tool to ensure change requests aredefined accurately and with enough detail for our development team to progress. Improves systems by studying current practices; proposing enhancements. Recommends controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures. Define test plans and perform first pass suite testing. Feeds into project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases,and other elements. Assists in monitoring project progress by tracking activity; resolvingproblems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions. Maintains system protocols by writing and updating procedures. Provides references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation. Prepares technical reports by collecting, analysing, and summarisinginformation and trends. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educationalworkshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-artpractices; participating in professional societies.
