Business Analyst / Project Manager - Consulting ServicesLocation Remote India BangalorePosting date 1 day ago(4/2/2021 7:50 AM)Job ID 85143 Category Operations Job summary The Red Hat Global Consulting Operations team is looking for a Business Analyst / Project Manager to join us in Bangalore, India. In this role, you ll report directly to the Global Services Operations team and will be responsible for a broad spectrum of activities related to improving how the business runs across the globe. Key responsibilities include business case development, requirements documentation, process documentation (BPMN), stakeholder management, project planning, project delivery, change management, and communication. Primary job responsibilities

  • Identify, create, and facilitate process design changes by conducting business and systems process analysis and design at a complex level, focusing on quality improvement and data management
  • Identify and develop process improvement, including re-engineering and recommending the elimination of antiquated processes
  • Integrate new systems and processes with existing ones
  • Provide and support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders and documenting business needs
  • Provide project-level analysis; produce required project analysis documentation like business requirements, scope matrix, use cases, sequence diagrams, data flow models, future state proposals, test scripts, project plans, UAT plans, test plans, and change management plans
  • Collaborate closely with developers to implement the requirements and provide necessary guidance to testers during the quality assurance (QA) process
  • Demonstrate a high degree of expertise in business process modelling and notation (BPMN 2.0)
  • Manage change management activities to communicate and enable business users on the process and system changes utilizing formal and informal written communication methods and training methods e.g., emails, newsletters, PowerPoint presentations, executive updates, and live or recorded training sessions
Required skills
  • Self-starter with experience working as a business analyst or project manager on large scale projects as well as handling day-to-day operational requests from the business
  • Experience with establishing, and contributing to process improvements
  • Experience in dealing with complex projects and multicultural and multidisciplinary across widely diverse corporate management teams, as well as a broad spectrum of regional and global internal partners
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, leadership skills, analytical ability, and business judgment
  • Possess a good balance of business and technical background
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize business requirements, including recognizing patterns and conceptualizing processes
  • Experience working with or certification in any of the following methodologies is a plus: PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, PRINCE2, Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Six Sigma, Master of Science in Project Management (MSPM), or Prosci certification(s), Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
