Job Description

One of Our Clients, Leading It Services Company is hiring for Checkpoint SpecialistMust-Have Skills:

  • 5 Years in Checkpoint
  • 4-5 Years in F5
  • Proxy experience is an added advantage
  • Be current Check Point CCSA and CCSE (Certified on r75 or r77 within the last 2 years) . Should have a complete understanding of Firewalls and VPN architecture.
  • 5 Years of hands-on troubleshooting (not just creating and deploying firewall rules) with Check Point UTM (GAiA-based) firewalls and be very proficient.
  • Should have a complete understanding of the Firewalls and VPN GUI in order to support 24 X 7 operations.
  • Support complete administration and management of the Firewalls and VPN. Define capacity management plan and performance and monitoring thresholds for - Firewalls and VPN in the context of customer requirement.
  • Support troubleshooting of escalated incidents to closure. Lead the root cause analysis on the major incidents/problems. Lead complex changes.
  • Receive firewalls Spec-D for the site from shipping or Walk a remote resource through the 1st time config such that connectivity can be possible for further configuration.
  • Validating technical issues resolved by L2. Leading - Firewalls and VPN life-cycle management. Creation of new service and operational reports in line with customer needs. Evaluating new product updates/upgrades. Leading System Integration/Consulting engagements associated with PoC/implementing - Firewalls and VPN in line with customer needs.
  • Strong knowledge of application security best practices including OWASP Top 10 and OWASP Mobile Top 10, along with an engineering-oriented background
  • Strong knowledge of web and mobile application security testing frameworks and methodologies
  • Experience and familiarity working across the global cyber security community
  • Technical knowledge in software engineering, system and network security, authentication and security protocols, cryptography, and network/web related protocols (e.g., TCP, UDP, HTTP, HTTPS)
  • A proven ability to establish and sustain effective, professional relationships with Technology and Business; work closely with business partners to understand business drivers and market requirements; and provide leadership to the technology group in order to create the right security solutions for the market in the required time frames
  • Knowledge of/experience with international compliance requirements/standards (PCI-DSS, GLBA, SOX, UK DPA) and other security regulation requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, and leadership skills along with effective communication (both written and verbal) skills
  • Skilled at mentoring and communicating goals and other corporate initiatives and driving to results
  • Certifications such as CSSLP, CREST, OSCP, OSCE, or appropriate SANS Certifications desirable
  • P2/P3 Resolution/P1 / Critical incident / Problem management and resolution/Violated incident
