The Corporate Center of Excellence (CoE) for AI, Advanced Analytics and Big Data is working on#TheNextBigThing. Besides conducting cool use cases in the field of Data Analytics and AI, weare inventing, building and running eXtollo a data analytics cloud platform based on MicrosoftAzure for MB teams around the world. Our users trust in the cross-divisional platform to createsecure and scalable cloud applications based on Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence & BigData technologies. In addition to the provisioning and utilization of the technology we are alsoresponsible for MB s data treasure the eXtollo Data Lake. RoleSolution Architect Cloud Platform Architect.Drive Cloud strategy and process from demand management to design to implementation.Act as a trusted advisor to our internal partners (Business Units and IT teams), and proactivelycommunicate operational status, issues & risks in the projects to management.Conceptualize products for existing business problems with business covering full life Cycle -design thinking, business canvas, road map with open source first approach and build products.Lead internal consulting engagements, managing stakeholder expectations (Business Units) andmonitor time to time and drive quality of deliverables.Cost Optimization of resources and effective planning at the beginning of the assignment anddrive vendor management activities.Align and appropriately use Mercedes-Benz IT project management tools, governance,processes, policies and methodologies.Bring value-add by creating a culture of continuous improvement and innovation through PoCs,encourage best practices, challenge current practices, provide feedback to team & colleagues.Active participation in Data communities, support inner source activities within theorganizations. Know-how of the latest in the industry and its fitment in the current set up.Participation in organizational wide initiatives. Soft Skills

Qualifications
• Deep knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Azure IaaS, PaaS and FaaS services
• Hands on experience on Azure App Service Model (Web Apps, Mobile Apps, API Apps and Web Jobs)
• Hands on experience on Azure storage services like SQL DB, PostgreSQL, Tables
• Hands on experience in Azure Application Gateway
• Hands on experience with Azure API Management Service
• Hands on experience in Microservice development on ACI, AKS, working Knowledge on Containers and Kubernetes.
• Hands on experience of executing cloud native projects in Azure with Azure DevOps
• Hands on experience on Azure Integration services like Service Bus and Event Hubs
• Good knowledge of Azure IaaS (VMs, VNET, NSG Rules, VPN Gateways and Express Route)
• Good to know Azure Databricks, PySpark, SQL, Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Notebooks, data analytics tools, visualization tools (e.g. Power BI)
• Good knowledge on application development, Full stack and API Architecture.
• Familiarity with databases and analytics technologies in the industry including Data
• Warehousing/ETL, Relational Databases, or MPP
• Knowledge on Cost Optimization, Logging and Monitoring
• Agile development experience, Experience in product development using SAFe,
• Strong in presentation, communication (written and verbal English), and interpersonal
skills and comfortable in liaising with stakeholders independently
• Previous experience providing consulting delivery leadership in discovering and shaping
• Opportunities, solution development, proposal generation, and deal closing stages.
• Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks within a collaborative team environment.
• Desire to learn and grow both technical and functional skill sets, and drive team s potential.
Preferred Experience and Skills
• Microsoft Azure and AWS Certifications Solution Architect
• CKA Certified Kubernetes Administrator
