  • Drive the technical design and implementation for our vision of a super reliable, performant, and scalable cloud platform.
  • Work closely with the Product Manager,Product Architects and Staff Engineers to ensure the best patterns and practices are used to design industry-leading reliability of our software applications and services.
  • Ensure product releases are high quality, deliver excellent user experiences, perform seamlessly at scale.
  • Ensure that all development related activities are carried out as per the standards followed in organization.
  • Influence the direction of product development decisions and partner with peer groups to execute on a complete vision for market leadership and industry excellence.
  • Build highly scalable Cloud Microservice solutions that secure a high volume of web traffic
  • Crafting a strong technical foundation; able to define architecture and design, and get under the hood of sophisticated architectures, systems, and interface design
  • Bring a mindset of developing simple solutions to complex problems.
  • Be a technology evangelist and innovator introducing new tools and technologies
  • Help recruit world-class cloud engineers and collaborate with and mentor our high performing team of cloud platform engineers.
Who You AreYou are a Software Engineer that enjoys wearing many hats, a self-starter thats willing to jump headfirst into the codebase and start improving it immediately. This is a true generalist full stack role. You re happy working in a continuous delivery environment, and reaching out across teams to solve problems. You are comfortable working in Java, Python as well as working with AWS in general.Preferred :
  • 13+ years of Software Development experience and proven track record building/supporting/scaling solutions on a public cloud platform (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Technical expertise in Java, Python, Middleware and Database used in developing/operating large scale distributed services / applications
  • Expert-level programming and scripting expertise in Java, Python, Golang or other relevant languages. Java expertise is strongly preferred.
  • Deep expertise and an insatiable interest in application containers and runtimes such as Docker and Docker Engine
  • Deep expertise with monitoring and alerting systems such as ElasticSearch, Cloudwatch, and DataDog or similar tools.
  • Experience with high-throughput messaging technologies and patterns; Apache Kafka, AWS MSK and related technologies a plus. Microservices architecture experience is a plus.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum-inspired delivery methodology.
  • Experience in monitoring SaaS applications 24/7.
  • Experience in performance measurement, profiling and optimization of SaaS applications.
  • Experience with CI/CD systems (Jenkins or AWS Codebuild/Deploy)
  • Excellent communication skills
Desirable:
  • Hands on AWS infrastructure experience.
  • Experience in network security & access control, endpoints visibility and anomaly detection
  • Solid understanding of network protocols like TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, HTTPS, DNS
