The team manages and supports a variety of products/applications including MQ, Gemfire, Redis, and Kafka.The Enterprise System Management (ESM) organization is a product engineering and development group that helps our systems scale across the firm s increasingly complex business applications. We re a dynamic, talented, and multifunctional global team focused on aligning our solutions around the principles of automation, observability, and technical excellence.This is a position for engineers who are passionate about automation and delivering scalable value with cutting edge technologies, and who are vocal advocates of product solutions and able to nurture developer relations to facilitate product adoption and best practices.Understanding both the technical and client facing challenges is a critical part of your success. You will need to evangelize, engage and design with developers, troubleshoot their issues, and follow up with the global engineering team to ensure that expectations are not just met, but exceeded. Your timezone placement aligns with our largest user base, where you will be expected to share issues and opportunities through exceptional communication back to the global team.You ll also play a key role in shaping how we bring new capabilities to our clients, while partnering with teams across Technology to advocate the needs of developers, driving our strategy, narratives, best practices, events and outreach to developers globally. In this role you will help developers adopt and implement the industry-leading AI platform so that they can better scale the support of their apps. You will also create training materials, samples and documentation and work directly with developers integrating with our Amelia implementation to help them solve their issues and to collect feedback.Job Responsibilities:The responsibility of a Cognitive Implementation Engineer is to assist customers with building and implementing new cognitive functionalities and providing a stable, scalable environment for execution of automated cognitive flows. Other responsibilities include:Establishing and maintaining environment for secure and safe use by cognitive developers.Responsible for configuring and providing shared modules and componentsMaintain and establish Testing Standards and Best PracticesDevelop shared module functionality and tooling to enable development efficienciesWork with SMEs to connect developed functional solutions that communicate with back-end systems and/or provide tooling solutions for easier integrationsEstablish feature request workflow for vendor updates and improvementsEstablish standards for integrated end-to-end automated executionsMeasure model accuracy and establish continuous improvements to intent classifierDevelop model training tools to enable users updates and measurement of updates to classifiers and intentsEstablish standards and environments to enable continuous improvement and regular deployment schedulesProduct updates and release communications, *Required Skills:Experience developing chatbots or similar softwareProficient in Java, Javascript, and GroovyAbility to solve complex technical problems via the application of solution/design thinkingAbility to manage daily work efforts and risk via exceptions and thoughtful escalationsEnd-to-end technical experience in design, engineering, testing, dev ops, supportUnderstanding of Git, Jenkins, CI/CD, and Agile methodologiesDemonstrated Leadership CapabilitiesAbility to communicate to both technical and non-technical audiencesDesired Skills:Experience with IPsoft s cognitive AI platform, AmeliaExperience as a technology advocate, especially if related to chatbotsPractical AI/cognitive and machine learning domain knowledgeExperience creating compelling overviews and product requirements documentsAbility to influence and communicate cross-functionally and across teamsAbility to take initiative, innovate and experimentExcellent skills in planning, structuring, analyzing and organizingExcellent written and verbal communication skills
