Job Description

    Roles and ResponsibilitiesAssist in developing and implementing policies and procedures designed to ensure full compliance with legal, regulatory and contractual requirements. Conduct due diligence on agents and third parties consistent with the various Anticorruptionregulations including the FCPA. Assist in creating sound internal controls and monitor adherence to them Develop, distribute and/or deliver effective training and communications in support of the Compliance Program. Monitor the conduct of employees through the use of periodic audits, reviews and /or evaluations. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders- BU, HR, Finance to identify, mitigate and resolve compliance and legal matters. Assist in review of agreements, monitoring of statutory compliances, litigations etc. Assist in compliance and ethics related investigations, inspections and audits. Follow up on compliance and ethics related investigations to ensure recommendations have been appropriately and timely implemented. Essential Skills / ExperienceIn-house compliance experience with a multi-national medical devices company or related industry (Pharma/health care) Legal experience is an advantage Desired Candidate Profile3+ years experience. Familiarity with the US FCPA and laws relating to Medical Devices would be advantageous. Knowledge and/or work experience in SEA markets is a plus. Strong sense of integrity, business transaction transparency and the ability to balance business interests with the need to exercise independent judgement. Ability to provide practical, commercially focused and value-added advice. Strong drafting and negotiation skills. Ability to critically review and advise business programs and procedures in accordance withcompliance requirements and corporate policies and standards. Very strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to deal with a broad range of people across all levels. Ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior management in the business. Key Relationships / Interfaces
