Job Description

  • The SSGA GFM team is responsible to manage the Valuations & Pricing of various funds.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills needed, with the aptitude to work on multiple deliverables concurrently.
Duties And Responsibilities
  • ValuationServices: Validating Traded Security prices on a daily basis (Fixed income/Bond/Equity/Derivative).
  • Pricing: Exposure to research of Pricing of Fixed income, Equities Securities using Bloomberg, IDC and other vendor sources.
  • Security Classification: Classify securities on Anova as per their Asset classes alomng with country/sector using various data vendors.
  • Challenge and Query vendor for Tolerance breached securities.
  • Act as a liaison between custodian, internal operational teams, and external audit firms.
  • Provide all deliverables to internal and external parties in a timely manner as well as participate in the review of audits.
  • Review securities stale prices.
  • Create and update the procedural documents (SOPs)
  • Monitoring emails and provides timely response/resolutions for queries.
  • Adhere to audit controls and quality checks within the process.
  • Coordinate with the Onshore SME for any data discrepancy issues or client escalations that needs additional support and guidance.
  • Take ownership in following the audit & Quality controls.
  • Proactively work towards efficiency, Be Flexible and adaptable as per the business needs
Qualification & Experience:
  • PG Level preferably MBA in Finance from a recognized Institute.
  • Additional financial certificates will be value added.
  • 1 to 2 years related experience, with direct experience in Valuations and Securities Pricing.
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Skilled in the use of Bloomberg/Interactive data
  • Strong critical, Innovative thinking and analytical skills; results driven with ability to solve problem
  • Proficiency to establish priorities and meet deadlines
  • Ability to prioritize and make decisions in a fast paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication skills.
  • Passionate about providing excellent customer service in a high performance, fast-paced work culture.
  • Time management skills and the ability to work on multiple issues concurrently are both critical.
  • Display of Accountability, Ownership, Commitment and Professional Behavior is highly expected.
