Job Description

    Corporate Sector - EMEA Legal Entity Risk Reporting - Analyst Job Description The Risk Reporting and Controls Management function is a part of the wider Reporting, Middle Office & Controls (RMOC) Organization. This group is responsible for analysing and reporting on Credit, Market, Country, Principal, Operational, liquidity risk and funding metrics at the Firmwide, LOB, and key LE level globally.Specifically, the risk reporting function is primarily responsible for the production of risk reports of various frequencies, which are used by risk managers, business units, and senior business management to monitor and manage positions. The team is also responsible for monitoring and reporting of various risk limits and indicators at firmwide, line of business and legal entity level.Legal Entity Risk Reporting Team which is part of Risk Reporting and Middle Office is responsible for providing data and analytical reporting to regional and local Chief Risk Officers, regulators and senior management. You will be based in Bangalore and will report to the EMEA Legal Entity Risk Reporting Manager. Responsibilities include monitoring and reporting credit and market risk for EMEA locations. There is a critical need to focus on ensuring risk reporting is comprehensive, timely, and accurate so that all levels of risk management can use it to understand and manage the business in a timely and effective manner. The position also requires interactions with Businesses, Credit/Market Risk Coverage, Finance, Audit and Operations. Job Responsibilities:
    • Ensure processes are established to provide accurate risk reporting for the entity to support location governance and regulatory requirements
    • Provide a reasonableness review of credit/market risk information contained in the regulatory reporting
    • Modify local reports to comply with changing regulations. Understand the regulatory requirements and coordinate with technology the implementation of those requirements
    • Ensure any risk excesses are escalated and controlled according to local risk policies; consistency in practices and procedures around reporting
    • Build and maintain good working relationships with coverage team; Participate in the location Risk Committee meetings to cover changes in and understanding of risk profiles and any risk issues arising
    • Actively engage with location risk managers to remain current on risks, business activity, exposures, etc.
    • Work on improvements to user tools and processes, automating and reducing excel based User Tools where feasible
    Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:
    • Bachelors degree or above in Financial Engineering/ Mathematics/ Statistic/ Finance. CFA or FRM certification is good to have
    • Previous Credit/Market Risk Management related working experience preferable
    • Good written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong product and market knowledge in relation to derivatives and related valuation / risk management issues; Familiar with Risk Management related banking regulations is good to have
    • Proficient in MS office software; Previous Alteryx / Tableau related working experience preferable
    • A team player with excellent interpersonal skills
    • Self-motivated, and comfortable working with large amounts of data; Logical thinking, details driven and well ordered
