Job Description

We are looking for people with your talent to learn from a former Sr. Partner of McKinsey helping to develop a new Corporate Strategy team at a well renowned predictive analytics technology company. FICO is much more than the score! The market for solutions leveraging machine learning and artificial intelligence to help make smarter business decisions is complex and growing. This strategically important analyst role combines data gathering and analysis of FICO s business to assess current and emerging issues and opportunities to drive profitable growth. EVP, Corporate StrategyWhat You ll Contribute

  • Gather data based on external and FICO internal sources to understand current business situations and define key issues and improvement opportunities.
  • Gather data on FICO s current business position including sales, cost, customer volume/usage data, product strengths & weaknesses, operational drivers, etc.
  • Maintain databases to record and update findings over time.
  • Build operational and financial models to analyze and explain historical business results, understand key business drivers, and project scenarios and potential outcomes of investments and other improvement actions.
  • Formulate insights from these data and analyses to inform FICO business strategies, development roadmap priorities, sales priorities, and future investments.
  • Present findings and recommendations for consideration to key stakeholders in sales, marketing, technology, and finance organizations.
What We re Seeking
  • Ability to gather, integrate, store, maintain and report on business data elements.
  • Very strong business analysis skills with experience in effectively converting data to usable intelligence. Experience in a leading strategy or marketing consulting firm is a plus.
  • Strong spreadsheet and database management skills willingness to personally handle all aspects including data input, model building, analysis, and reporting.
  • Ability to effectively communicate findings to key stakeholders in an objective and compelling manner, both orally and in written reports.
  • Knowledge of the software industry, including competitive players, market structure and dynamics is a plus.
  • A self-starter, comfortable working autonomously in the development of project plans, analysis requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
  • BS degree in business administration, marketing, economics, or an analysis-based discipline required, an emphasis on data analysis, statistics, business systems or software engineering a plus.
