Job Description

    We are looking for Credit Manager to drive credit underwriting process. As a Credit Manager, you will be responsible for evaluating the creditworthiness of potential customers, creating credit scoring models, approving and rejecting loans, finalizing commercials, and updating the companys credit policy. Our ideal candidates combine strong analytical skills with confident communication skills.Responsibilities :- Evaluating the creditworthiness of potential customers based upon multiple online and offline data sources- Creating credit scoring models for risk assessments.- Conducting personal discussions with customers to clarify all open questions.- Approving and rejecting loans based on credit worthiness and business outlook- Calculating and setting financing commercials- Maintain records of loan applications- Monitoring loan payments and bad debts.- Reviewing and updating the companys credit policy.- Defining early warning signals to track portfolio performance.- Work with policy team to ensure the right risk parameters are captured and assessedRequirements :- Three to ten years of experience in SME credit.- Hiring across Senior Manager, AVP and VP levels based upon the experience.- Understanding of new-age / ecommerce businesses preferred.- Ability to assess customers basis standard documents like Financials, Banking, GST etc.- Experience in setting up strong credit underwriting processes and scale them- Proficient in MS Excel and ability to bring out insights from data- Excellent analytical skills and detail orientation.- Good communication and interpersonal skills.About us :We are a VC funded fintech startup based in Bangalore with the audacious goal of building the future of business financing.
