Job Description

    Exp : 8 - 18 YearsWe are looking for a Customer Success Engineer with deep knowledge of storage technologies, file systems and databases. You will have the opportunity to work with hyper scalers, Cloud Providers, large enterprises and Telco service providers for scale-out, hyper disaggregated, infrastructure solutions.Roles and Responsibilities:- You will be Presenting the performance of company solutions using synthetic benchmarks like FIO and sysbench and under various kinds of application workloads.- Database Performance in normal mode and under failure conditions will need to be evaluated and compared to competitive offerings.- You will have the opportunity to work closely with our Solution Architects and our customers in understanding their requirements and to demonstrate company technology.- You will also work closely with our Engineering team in identifying areas where performance can be improved and analyzing and publishing test results.- You will be very hands-on, work closely with Engineering team(s) as well as Customers and produce presentations and White papers that highlight best practices as well as company technology.Qualifications :- MS/BS in CS/EE or Equivalent with 5+ years of experience- Must have 5+ years of testing and qualification experience with databases, file systems (XFS, ext4), applications & storage- Deep understanding of Storage protocols (knowledge of NVMeOF a plus) at block, file and object level and low-level Storage fundamentals- Excellent analytical, trouble shooting and problem-solving skills- Experience with single-instance, clustered and sharded Database installations & performance tuning (Oracle, MySQL, Cassandra, MongoDB, etc.,)- Strong hands-on experience with Operating Systems (Linux, Windows) and Virtualization environments (Docker, Kubernetes, VMWare) including installations, sysadmin skills, kernel recompilations.- Strong verbal and communication skills- Experience with testing and troubleshooting tools (FIO, vdbench, sysbench, IOzone, wireshark, iperf, etc.,) and app level tools such as YCSB, Oracle SLOB, HammerDB and Swingbench.- Python/Bash programming is highly expected- Good understanding of Networking technologies - TCP/IP, BGP. Ability to configure Arista/Cisco/Juniper switches is a plus.- Cloud Architecture Certifications (AWS, Azure, Anthos, etc.,) is a plusThis job opening was posted long time back. It may not be active.
