We even promise to let you bring your kids and pets to work.What will you be doing We are currently seeking a Data Engineer to join our People Analytics Team to build a world-class people analytics function at Inmobi. The candidate should have expertise in designing and implementing scalable data warehouse infrastructure and advancing principles of high quality data architecture that enables effective reporting and analytics. Our ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys the challenge of complex business scenarios and is passionate about data and analytics.Roles & Responsibilities
• Have experience and well understanding in Data Warehousing and Data Lake infrastructure.
• Ability to create scalable Data Pipeline using Open Source Tools/Cloud based solutions by extracting and combining data from various heterogeneous data sources and ability to identify the data quality issues across the various data platforms.
• Develop the end-to-end automation of data pipelines, making datasets readily-consumable by visualization tools and Machine Learning Applications.
• Interface with partners across HR Operations and Systems and other HR functions to gather Data Model and Architecture requirements.
• Own the Data Model / Architecture and be responsible for incrementally advancing it as a single source of truth for statistical models, distributed systems, and individual users.
• Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency, and workload management
Minimum Qualifications
• 4+ years of experience using data technologies with hands-on experience on advanced knowledge in big data technologies
• Demonstrated strength in building data modelling and data warehousing.
• Experience building data products incrementally and integrating and managing datasets from multiple sources.
• Experience building/operating highly available, distributed systems of data extraction, ingestion, and processing of large datasets.
• Proven success in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior management to collect requirements, describe data modelling decisions and data engineering strategy
• Ability to develop and tune SQL to provide optimized solutions to the business
• Knowledge and direct experience using business intelligence reporting tools (Power BI will be a plus)
• Coding proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Python, Rust etc.)
• Ability to automate Data Pipelines with Open Source tools like Airflow, Ploomber, Luigi etc
• Experience in working with Cloud based Data Engineering using Databricks and Azure would be an added advantage but not mandatory.
• Strong analytic skills related to working with structures unstructured datasets.
