    DB2 DBA AdministratorExp- 9 to 12yearsLocation- BangaloreNp- 15days to ImmediatePhysical DB2 DBA JD:General:This role is performed by technical professionals responsible for the physical and technical aspects of a database systems. Responsibilities for this job role include, but are not limited to, installation andmaintenance of the databases, DB2 upgrades and patches checkouts, performance and capacity monitoring & management, and security compliance. Potential interaction with clients (internal or external) in order to understand and meet requirements for the delivery of services related to database products.JD as per experience------------------------------Level 2Monitory DB2 Dialogue/Instant notification logs1. Monitoring of Transaction logs2. Monitoring Archive log destinations3. Monitoring of Life systems owned by DB2 database4. Monitoring Tablespace5. Starting up Instance6. Shutting down Instance7. Activate/Deactivate8. Quiesce/Unquiesce9. Running scripts to prepare capacity planning reports.Level3House keeping and Maintenance of files owned by DB2 Database1. Creating tablespace - System and Database managed2. Altering Tablespace3. Reorganizing tables and Indexes4. Recover Database5. Binding of packages to DB2 databases6. Ondemand backup of Database7. Runstats of tablspace and Index8. Creation of new DB2 objectsLevel 4Tablespace Migration1. RCA for recurring issues2. Tuning of Databases and DB parameters3. Tuning of Memory parameters, Buffer pool and registry variables.4. Taking snapshot of database5. Participate in DR test6. Synchronize primary and HADR databases7. Gather periodic database statisctics
