Job Description

    > Detailed benchmarking of different mechanical systems and subsystems of eKit of the Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) > Manage mechanical systems, subsystems and components level design requirements through cross-functional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders > Preparation of concepts and detail parametric design (parts and assemblies) in CATIA V5 for BEVs mechanical systems such as mechanical structure, chassis, suspension, brakes, steering, (sheet metal, aluminium, casting, composite) in a complex packaging environment from predevelopment to series development phase > Evaluate, balance and trade-off the design concepts for the attributes such as DFA, DFS, cost, quality and timeline > Interface and DMU analysis, generate a report and seamless coordination with internal and external stakeholders to resolve packaging and integration challenges > Preparation, review, control and monitor Design Quality Assurance (DQA) documents and its major elements such as Benchmarking, Design Concept Sheet (DCS), GD&T, DFMEA, DFMA, DFSS, DFS&R, DVP&R etc. General Requirements: 1. Develop a challenging viewpoint on how the business units performance will grow, based on insights, facts and expert understanding. Communicate own point of view with competence. 2. Build cooperative, authentic and trusting relationships with key people in the business unit. 3. Basic calculations of brakes system mainly, in continucation vehicle dynamics 4. Use diagnostics and analytics to assess the implications of the business units goals on the required people capabilities and culture. 5. Use analytics to demonstrate impact of people processes and drive business transformation.
    1. Benchmarking, preparation of mechanical system and subsystems design concept preparation and its trade-off, mechanical design of e-components enclosure, internal packaging, integration, detailed design (2D and 3D CAD) preparation by adhering to DQA (DCS, GD&T, DFMEA, DFMA, DFSS, DFS&R, DVP&R etc.), internal & external standards and customer requirements.
    2. He/she will be working for the following major areas,
    1. 3 & 4-Wheeler platform projects: Brakes, (Mechanical & Hydraulic assist) 2. Additional knowledge related to suspension steering, wheels & tyres.
