Job Description

    Responsibilities & Key Deliverables 1) Specifies battery cooling system components (fan, blower, chiller, pump, heat exchanger, cold plate, cooling line, compressor), materials and methodologies to ensure products meet all homologation, quality and customer requirements 2) Conducts pack level thermal performance tests of EV battery pack 3) Ability and flexibility to coordinate with multiple vendors, internal teams & testing team to meet the project objective 4) Evaluates supplier specs, analysis and test reports to ensure proper selection of suppliers 5) Battery thermal management algorithm including prognostics/diagnostic logics 6) Experience in CATIA to perform CAD check for interference, gap/clearance, etc 7) Conducts DFMEA, DFM, DFS, DFA for battery thermal system and components 8) Benchmarking for battery thermal management 9) Support the vehicle program delivery to meet timeline 10) Come up with new ideas of thermal management 11) Thermal system design knowledge of cooling and ventilation system for battery packs (air and liquid) Experience 6-8 years experience in Automotive with SIL/MIL/HIL is preferable. Industry Preferred Qualifications M.E./M.Tech.: 02 to 04 Years General Requirements 1. Ability to work closely with the Electrical, Mechanical, Electrochemistry and Embedded systems (BMS) Team internally 2. Ability to apply GD&T , DFMA principles 3. Parts and subsystem Integration 4. Automotive vehicle sub system knowledge 5. Smooth transition of developed product from R&D to Manufacturing team. 6. Expertise in Design Verification/Validation Plan, DFMEA, Design Release Documents and FRACAS (Failure Reporting, Analysis and Corrective Action System)Job Segment: Electrical, CAD, Drafting, Engineering, Automotive ,
