Ensure all assigned mandatory trainings related to data integrity, health, and safety measures are completed on time by all members of the team including self Compliance to Syngene s quality standards at all times Hold self and their teams accountable for the achievement of safety goals Govern and Review safety metrics from time to timeCore Purpose of the Role : We are looking for an experienced IT Security Manager to join our security team! as an IT Security Manager, your main duty will be to plan, implement and oversee our companys daily security operations. We also expect you to have strong leadership skills as you will be managing and overseeing the work of a few other employees.Role Accountabilities: Monitor all operations and infrastructure. It involves going through alerts and logs (the computer security equivalent of video surveillance) in order to keep an eye on your organization s digital security footprint. Maintain all security tools and technology. This could be a shared responsibility or the sole responsibility of the IT security manager and their team. Monitor internal and external policy compliance. You want to ensure that both your vendors and employees understand your cybersecurity risk management policies and that they operate within that framework. The IT security manager is the living embodiment of policy, and while you may not always oversee enforcement, you are responsible for making sure things are in line internally. Monitor regulation compliance. This is particularly important as we are dealing with things like credit card information, health care data, or other personally identifiable information. Work with different departments in the organization to reduce risk. From technical controls to policies (and everything in between), you ll likely be tasked with working across the aisle of departments in your organization to get everyone on the same page. Implement new technology. An organization is looking at new technology, you must evaluate it and help implement any controls that might mitigate the risk of its operation. Audit policies and controls continuously. Cybersecurity is a circular process, and as a manager, you must drive that process forward. This means regularly auditing the policies and controls you put into place. These audits will tell you if there s anything you need to improve, remediate, or quick fix. Ensure cybersecurity stays on the organizational radar. Does it seem as though the organization you re with isn t being proactive about cybersecurity As the IT security manager, your job is to make the benefits clearly visible and champion all efforts going forward. Detail out the security incident response program. Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience as IT security professional Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with people at every level and in every department are essential. Candidates with certification in information security (CISSP, CSSLP, CCFP, CISM, etc.) or comparable work experience will be given preference. Risk analysis/assessment experience is a plus. Experience with Microsoft Windows Server/Unix server/Linux required. Microsoft Project experience preferred.2. Education: B.Sc/ M.Sc/B. Tech /B. E /MTech Electronics and Communications or Computer Science or Information TechnologySkills and Capabilities Information Security Management system implementation & Monitoring VAPT Assessment Support and Mitigation ATP (endpoint & Network), DLP, Antivirus Monitoring Support for Internal Audit of IT and coordinate remediation Co-ordinating and supporting for Managed Security Services (MSS) and SIEM Incidents Publish MIS dashboards Coordinating within the team for all Security related activities Hands-On experience with security tools like DLP, IRM, AV, ATP, EDR, Next Gen Firewall, NAC Web Proxy configuration and management Must have experience handling Internal Audit and external regulatory Audits FDA Audit coordinates with team and compliance towards 21 CFR part 11.,
