Job Description

    • Candidate should have commanding experience in procurement of Software such as having application for simulations, automation, automotive communication protocol software, testing software etc. Experience in procurement of technology Services such as Control Software, Telematics, Simulation, CAD and related engineering services would be add on.
    • Derive commodity strategy, planning and execution with outperforming results for the organization
    • Exposure to Commodity specific supplier base and identify new suppliers setting up sourcing road map
    • RFQ processing, techno commercial evaluation of offers, Negotiations with suppliers, sourcing recommendation and business awarding.
    • Coordinate with Procurement colleagues across various Daimler entities for alignment on sourcing strategies and volume bundling. Promote National Buy.
    • To ensure that all goods & services are purchased for the organization achieving the objectives: Best value; In-time Delivery; Minimized investment; Efficient administration
    • Adhere to Global Procurement policies
    • Alignment of procurement activities with user departments and managing stake holders
    • Sourcing, evaluations, negotiations, contacts & supplier development.
