Job Description

    General Linux administration and Kubernetes administration (Mandatory)
    • Linux system management (Debian, RedHat Enterprise Linux)
    • Container runtimes (Docker and Kubernetes (RedHat Openshift))
    • Networking (DHCP, DNS, NFS, Kerberos)
    • IT Security & patch management
    • Monitoring (Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus)
    • Relational databases (MSSQL, Oracle and Postgresql)
    Software Development & Provisioning (Mandatory)
    • Languages (Python, Shell, Terraform, Go)
    • Version control systems (git)
    • CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins)
    Know-How in Apache Airflow application (Optional)
    • Structure of Airflow with its components (Scheduler, Worker, Backend-Databases)
    Experience with at least one object-oriented programming language and with large software projects.Experience with service deployment on Kubernetes-Good understanding of relevant mechanisms used to secure web applications.Good understanding of IT concepts, especially related to operations, security, distributed systems.Confidence in working on conceptual level all the way to technical implementation.Profound analytical and problem-solving skills.Designing, building & running a job orchestration service.Design and setup of fully automated DevOps workflows, to facilitate stable and efficient service operation.Supporting stabilization of platform e.g. through implementation of enhanced monitoring capabilities.Providing expert support to customers (e.g. root-cause analysis of non-standard issues).Technical exchange with open source community.Integration with existing enterprise services and frameworks.,
