The Director Business Development & Alliances will be responsible for engaging with customers, generate leads and create opportunities for companys commercial propositions. Role will also carry a Sales Target in conjunction with other parameters on growing and sustaining the business. This will be done by working collaboratively with sales, consulting practice and delivery leadership of Business unit. The focus of the position will be a set of named accounts in major markets across the world.Lead the sales initiative for analytics solutions especially in supply chain management areaAbility to identify niche white spaces in the supply chain functions and develop differentiated, business relevant and valuable suggestions to the customersSense the market needs and help define the business cases, where company could offer innovative business solutionsFacilitate conversations with potential customers and create opportunities to jointly invest in next generation offeringsFacilitate partnerships for niche information, research, analysis and services providers to cultivate a comprehensive service ecosystemSupport the development of innovative, forward thinking commercial solutions based on current market trends in the analytics sector Collaborate with team to develop client proposals and support generation of Work Orders Skills/ Requirements 1) Post Graduate Degree in related field (business, analytics, computer science or statistics) 2) Required; MBA/ Advanced degree strongly preferred 3) At least 16+ years of experience in a major Consulting organization in the Service Bases Industry, Business & industrial understanding of Retail, Education, financial reporting / analytics / supply chain / forecasting / database mining / statistical analysis / big data / enterprise reporting systems 4) Deep understanding of analytics sales and marketing processes and the current challenges, specifically relating to supply chain analytics Ability to conceptualize and customize solutions to Customer needs and support discussions 5) Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with strong presentation and facilitation skills (proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce) 6) Ability to establish contacts and nurture relationships and build credibility with potential customers 7) Excellent interpersonal skills with experience in consultative selling abilities with executive level customers 8) Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, staff and partners in order to achieve sales targetsExperience with sales methodology, process and sales funnel managementAbility to travel to global location based on business need,
