Our client is a leading Global Financial Institution engaged in personal banking, credit cards, corporate and investment banking, and wealth management with an extensive presence in Europe, the Americas, Africa, and Asia. - Actively seeking an experienced Director - Strategic Vendor Management to oversee Vendor Management and Sourcing activities for Group Technology.Some of the key responsibilities will include :- Strategic approach towards Supplier and Vendor Management- Global Vendor Management with hands on Vendor Life Cycle - Contract Negotiations, Approval Governance, Demand Challenge Process (DCP), Purchase Order (PO) creation and invoice management.- Working knowledge of OCIR regulations and ring-fencing rules- Proactively manage communication channels with senior stakeholders & vendors both internally and externally.To be eligible for this role you will require :- Qualified Accountant - (ACA/CIMA/CFA) OR MBA (Finance)- A proven track record with 15+ years of managing Global Vendor Management and ownership of Supplier Operating Model (SOM).- Strong understanding of Vendor Contracts and Negotiations specifically around Technology (Hardware, Software and Professional Services).- Sound working knowledge of Cost Reporting & Analytics and Accounting principles.- Demonstrate leadership ability in setting direction and prioritization- Strong communication and influencing skills required to be successful in this role- Strong inter-personal skills and evidence of working across teams and geographies to produce timely and accurate output.,
