Job Description

    *We are currently seeking a Supply Chain Expert to join our India Virtual Factory . While reporting to the Supply Chain Head, you will be focusing on Demand and Supply chain areas in Supply Chain function at Virtual Factory. The primary responsibility of the role includes (but is not limited to):To balance the forecasting between demand & supply by means of Collaborative Sales forecast, for all BUs under India Virtual Facotry with strong coordination with India Logsitcs team, in all SE Warehouses (DCs) , Central Supply Chain Planning Teams to improve the FCT accuracy, Based on orders received from INOPCCC teams, ensure material availability in all DCs & Provide delivery commitment on time delivery to end customers. Participating in SIOP meetings with Supply Chain planning, Front Offices and align demand and supply for IG as well as overseas Forecast requirements. To work / support Central Planning team to improve reference level forecast acuracy which results in increase to customer satisfaction.- Connect with all IVF suppliers, share forecast and priorities on weekly basis, follow up on delivery commitments and ensure material availabilitities in DCs- Connect with IG plants, review export portfolio, discuss and aligns supplies of export products / components with IG plants- Work with DCs for export invoicing, shipments, and follow up on Transport Logistics for timely deliveries to IG plants.Key Elements of the role:Generating & Validating customer Forecasts through SAP & Qualitative interaction with Overseas Suppliers. Ensuring Monthly Process & Good understanding of Gather, analyze and validate data . Providing timely Rolling Forecasts to Vendors & Overseas Suppliers & Proactive information to Suppliers on various demand signals. Adjusting Forecasts at Reference / DC Level, Ensuring the proper Loading/Netting Procedure in SAP & Ensuring timely action on Errors. To take various Initiatives so as to improve the SCP process & work very closely / aggressively with plants & customers so as to add value for Supply Chain & better understanding of Market., *3-5 years of Experience in supply chain procurment function. Experience in Execution management in Manufacturing supply chain, preferably International trade Exposure to SAP with APO, MM, & SCM, modules would be preferred. B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechnical/Electrical/Production, preferably PG Diploma in Logistics Management/ Materials Management
