Start your future with BorgWarner now!The PMT & ADV Quality Engineer will support the Global Driveline (DLE) development activities with maintenance and continuous improvement to our DLE EDF processes. In addition, participate in formation and continuous improvement of Advanced quality tools and tracking of departmental KPI measurements.Key responsibilitiesLead the development and continuous improvement of the Driveline product development process according to EDF.Represent Driveline Engineering team in initiatives and projects with Global PMT and Global ADV Quality departmentsResponsible to make sure the DLE team meets the necessary standards in the development process, (Examples: A-Spice, IATF 16949:2016)Support Internal and external Quality Audits for DrivelineFacilitate DFMEA sessions for Driveline, Mechanical system, and component to guide the process.Support 8D activities with focus on root cause analysis and toolsSupport team in statistical measurement analysisOrganize monthly continuous improvement meetings with managementOwnership of DLE Quality KPI tracking and reportingWhat were lookMinimum of a bachelors in engineering required.Minimum of 5 years experience of Engineering Quality, preferred in Automotive industryGood knowledge of IATF 16949 and Automotive SPICEExperience from DFMEAMust be familiar with Engineering Organizations and how they function.Passion for continuous improvements and process developmentGeneral understanding of systems, component design.Strong communication skills including written, verbal and listening.Fluent in English verbal and written.Certified in Design for Six SigmaExperience with software tools such as MS Power BI, Minitab, Plato e1ns,
