Job Description

    Job DescriptionEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Boomi Consultant shall be expected to provide expert-level consulting, On Time delivery of EDI Integration Solutions and thereby customer delight. He/she must be able to get the tasks delivered along with the teams and must co-ordinate all activities. Boomi Integration/EDI Consultant will have an understanding of the various integration patterns, EDI message types and formats and ways that a Boomi product can pass data to and from external systems, EDI format translations, on boarding of trading partners, the pros and cons of the various options, when best to use each, and the different data-format options. This role will work with internal and external customers to design, develop, make program and/or configuration changes and maintain complex integration software, internal and external B2B/system to system integrations. The individual will be knowledgeable in using Boomi as a middleware including the modules API Management, EDI Integrations and Flow.Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:Education: Graduation/Post Graduation in Engineering. Masters in Computer Science/Computer Applications from a Reputed UniversityWork experience: 7+ years of experience in Boomi iPaaS architecture design, implementation and support for large scale enterprises especially in EDI formats. Experience and deep knowledge in connecting applications from Boomi to SAP and performing file transfers using various protocols like ftp, sftp etc. The role will work with internal/external customers/architects/developers to design, develop, and maintain complex integration software working within the Boomi software integration frameworks. Dell Boomi EDI experience with standards such as ANSI X12, UN/EDIFACT. Aware of Boomi AS2 configuration and trading partner on boarding. Have done Boomi Environment Setup, Requirement Gathering, Process Design, Error and Exception Handling, Development, Deployment & Hyper care on Dell Boomi Integration platforms (Cloud & On-Premise). Should be able to deliver the requirement on his/her own with minimal (or no) assistance required from others. Experience in Real-time, Batch, and ETL integrations. Must have a good understanding of various data formats XML, JSON, CSV, Database, and EDI (Good to have). Thorough understanding of REST, SOAP, Web services, and API Communication protocols S/FTP/S, HTTP/S, File I/O, AS2, VAN, etc. Should be aware of Boomi Pub/Sub model, Event-Based Integrations, Boomi Document Flow, Document Cache, Logging & Monitoring Framework, etc. Should have knowledge in handling security (OAuth mechanism) artifacts, encryption and decryption mechanisms. Understanding customers business needs, system functionality, and business processes. Knowledge of coding & scripting in Java, Groovy, JavaScript, etc. Good at analytics and have a knack for solving complex integration scenarios. Great interpersonal and communication skills to drive stakeholders meetings. Technical understanding of Authorization and Authentication protocols like WS-Security and OAuth is required. Should be able to prepare technical documentation. Should be flexible to work to meet project timelinesMandatory / Preferred Skills:Technical Skills (Min yrs. of hands on Exp in this skill)1.
