Job Description

Educational qualification: Bachelor / Masters in Electrical Engineering Years of Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience Primary Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for performing professional electrical engineering research, design, development, modification, and testing in support of embedded systems and power distribution and generation.
  • You will assist the Subject Matter Expert to develop, define/refine functional power distribution.
  • You will work with a multidisciplinary engineering design team: electrical, mechanical, software, technical support, productivity engineers, and suppliers, on the design, modification, of custom and OEM embedded systems components.
  • You will need to prepare and analyze test plans and procedures to assure that technical and operational requirements are met and properly demonstrated.
  • You will be responsible for the collection and analysis of pertinent material and data in preparation of your presentation at design, project, and program reviews.
  • Outstanding analysis and proven trouble-shooting skills
  • Ability to drive functional requirements and execute in a dynamic team environment
  • Maintain and develop process checkpoints to ensure adherence to design standards and schedules. Work with leadership peers to drive process improvements as necessary.
  • Update stake holders on deliverables & timelines including Global stakeholders
Mandatory Skills :
  • Proficient with use of in Electrical drafting software to Design cable harness schematics, electrical Schematic and system interconnects diagrams.
  • Must be experienced in electrical component selection for cable harnesses
  • Familiar in system level understanding of Electrical architecture, IO Controllers and Applications
  • Understanding of cable harness manufacturing, assembly and testing
  • Working experience in electronic circuit design and development (like I-DEAS, Zuken E3, OrCAD/Allegro, Mentor Graphics or similar), SPICE modeling.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience with capital equipment or similar (for e.g., process industries, medical instrumentation, automotive, aircraft, etc.) industry in a sub-system / module design project.
  • Experience in working with cross-disciplinary teams (including mechanical, electro-mechanical, software, process, manufacturing engineers) for major projects with multi-national work environment.
  • Familiarity with requirements-driven process-oriented approach to system design
  • Familiar with different design standards and compliances like - NEC, NFPA, UL 508, IEC standard, IPC 620, SEMI Standard (Electrical)
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in matrix organization
